It’d be unfair to give this award to anyone besides St. John Vianney's Katelyn Linney.
She led her team to victories over Red Bank Catholic and Rumson-Fair Haven with
huge point outputs, as well as scoring 23 points in a loss to Trenton Central.
She certainly is working hard to lock up the award for best guard in the Shore
Conference.
A big week for Freehold Township, as they took down #5 Christian Brothers Academy on a buzzer beater by Chris Ballester, and then outlasted then #2 Middletown South in overtime. Ballester and senior guard Corey Csakai have been clutch for the Patriots, and this team moves up to #2 in our Shore Conference Top 10.
